Scenic Rural Sites
It
is a type of tourism in which tourists share in village life and villagers
gain economic and other benefits from tourist activities. Tourists often come to witness the life style of the
people of the villages. The traditional way of life right from their traditional attire to their traditional food, forms a delightful
destination for tourists.Most part of Bangladesh is covered with rural area. The village area here
seems to be green almost everywhere. The natural beauties turns our mind fresh.
The shadows of tree removes all tiredness. There are several trees like mango, Rose apple, jack fruit, litchi, rain tree, coconut, area and the jungles takes the
attention of tourist. There are a lot of local birds which add a great value to
the rural beauty. The amazing scenery of
crops in the fields are available across the whole area of Bangladesh.
The
area of cultivating crops in the dry season turns into bill at the time of
rainy season through the whole Kuakata village area. Thousands of lily glitters
in the morning time in these bill. Children collects lily with a great joy by
boat at morning time. Village life is the happiest compromise between the
natural and the artificial. Hence,
village life of Kuakata is the most natural. The village is panorama of the

Boat
racing:
Boat Race in Barisal and very
popular game in riverine areas of Bangladesh. Rivers form an integral part of
Bangladesh's history, tradition, literature, culture and sports. Boat race
consequently, is an important element of folk culture of Bangladesh. Boat Race is held at Bangladesh every year. A huge people come to
enjoy this boat race from a great distance. Sometimes the foreigners become so
much amused with such kind of festival, they take photo of their great
interested.
Bull Fight:
Cock fight and bull fight game is also a
traditional games in Bangladesh. It can be a great source of entertainment for
the tourist coming at Bangladesh. There are many historic bull fighting venues in Bangladesh. But bullfighting is
controversial because of a range of concerns including animal welfare, funding
and religion. The rural people arrange this kind of fighting for their own
amusement which can be a source of tourist attraction also.
Traditional rural Bengali games
All regions on earth have their own games and
sports. They are as much a necessity of life as food and drink are. Kuakata is
a tropical area. People have games and sports suitable to its climate.
People play many outdoor games and sports. Among them
Ha-du-du, Dariabandha, Kanamachhi, Gollachhut, Danguli, Buddhimantra, six-guti,
sixteen-guti, Lathi-play, boat racing etc. are worth mentioning games in the
region. It is a great source of attraction for the
tourist coming from Europe and America. The tourist can directly participate in
these rural game and have a great enjoy with the village people. They can have
a real taste of village.
Traditional food items at rural Bangla
Cakes:
There are several types of cakes(pitha)
prepared in the rural area of Bangladesh. Winter is the special season for
making such king of cake. These kind of cakes are special for their taste and flavor. Villagers makes cake for their and relatives when they come to visit. Another time when the farmers harvest rice. With the new rice
the farmers’ family become so happy and make cakes. These kind of native cakes
are a great attraction for the rural tourism loving people.
Date juice:
It’s a special item for the tourist of
their great interested. Its available in the winter season only. Almost all
villages of Bangladesh have this kind of special item. Date juice also use for mankind sweets. Tourist will pay a great attention to this. Date juice is used
to make Some cakes and payesh also.
Some
traditional rural fishes:
There are a lot of ponds and canals spreading
everywhere of the Bangladesh village area.
These ponds and canals are enriched with
different fishes. These fishes are very testy. Rainy season is the time when
these fishes are available in the local market. Tourist both domestic and
foreign are highly fond of these rural fish.
